Brock:

Amanda Gamble has worked for the Friends of Fort George since 2010, and has been the Executive Director since 2015, overseeing the staff and interpretive programming at Brock’s Monument for 10 years. Amanda’s talk will take an in-depth look at who Brock was, and why he is revered as the Hero of Upper Canada. It will also delve into some of the common myths and misconceptions that surround Brock’s Legacy that are discussed regularly at Brock’s Monument.
