Sport Event Hosting

Niagara is a year-round hotbed of sports leagues, events, games, and tournaments. And with good reason. It’s within easy driving distance of the Greater Toronto Area and Western New York and filled with state-of-the-art facilities.  Businesses have ample opportunity to boost awareness and revenue with a partnership or sponsorship at a well-attended event. And players of all skill levels (and their family and friends) will all love the memories they make in Niagara, whether it’s on the ice, field, or water – or after the game in a destination offering a vast array of leisure options and accommodations.

Meridian Centre

The Meridian Centre is a multi-purpose 5,300-seat arena in downtown St. Catharines, and is home to both the IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League and the Niagara River Lions of the National Basketball League of Canada. It also plays host to the 2017 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and big musical talent like Canadian favourites The Tragically Hip and Metric. Got an event to host? Contact the experienced event team which handles set up, catering for up to 700, sound and light and marketing, and ask about renting the facility for anything from banquets to meetings to full ice rink rentals, concerts, and more.
