By drying the grapes in tobacco kilns before pressing, Big Head wines display bigger, full-bodied qualities as the name suggests. We stopped in to Big Head and enjoyed a flight of wines. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a very small winery but the wines are very good. My favourite was the Syrah.
