the house is mostly original from the war of 1812 and our tour guide was very informative on the history of the builder and his family and their lives in the time of the war.

We were there off season and the building was not open but we still stopped for a bit just to see the exterior and the property. Lots of parking as it was pouring rain and cold and nobody was there...
