The Mewinzha Archaeology and Indigenous History Gallery honours Indigenous people who lived, traded and created a flint-knapping industry on the site. Mewinzha is an Indigenous word meaning “a long time ago”. This gallery features tools and weapons dating back 11,000 years. It also features contemporary Indigenous artwork.
