This highly publicized and unique Goat Yoga studio has been featured in several articles and was profiled on the popular Canadian reality show, Dragon’s Den, in 2019.
Melina Morsch, founder and master Goat Yogi, has completed many certifications including Certified Yoga Tune-up Specialist, Fitness Ontario Leadership Certification, the 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher accreditation with Yoga Alliance, and St. John’s Ambulance First Aid and CPR.
Fox Den uses third-generation yoga goats for their highly interactive sessions. Trained and socialized for human interaction, these baby goats are friendly, docile and downright cuddly!
Our sessions are appropriate for all skill levels, age 8 and up. We welcome all abilities and most of the class is conducted in a seated position.
Fox Den Goat Yoga has been offering unique Goat Yoga experiences since 2015.
October sessions are every Saturday at 2:30pm, Small Talk Winery, in Niagara on the Lake. We recommend arriving ten minutes before your session begins. Upon arrival check in at the yoga tent and get your all access stamp.
Our session begins with 30 minutes of gentle seated Hatha flow yoga. While we move through gentle yoga poses, our pygmy goats will explore and play on and around us, often cuddling up to guests and sometimes even falling asleep. The yoga session is followed by 30 minutes of extra time for goat cuddles, photos and relaxation. To complete the experience, head over to the retail store for a complementary tasting of four ciders.
What to bring:
- Running shoes
- a towel, and
- optionally, a yoga mat; mats can also be rented for $3 upon arrival
