If you’re looking for a good spot to take a peaceful stroll or an afternoon picnic, you can’t beat the Dufferin Islands. These man-made islands are teeming with life and offer quiet seclusion just a kilometre south of the Horseshoe Falls.
Stopped there during Festival of Lights, great location we did by car with stops. Looks great for a walk during day as well.
We had no idea what that place was, never heard it. We were biking from Niagara Falls and saw the sign and decided to check it out... Wow! It was really nice. Lot's of wildlife, very well maintained...
This has been one of our favourite quiet spots for a rest from the hubbub of Niagara. Now, it's another expensive stop. Why isn't there a parking pass which would cover parking in any location?
