Autumn’s arrival doesn’t slow down the fun in Niagara. From September through November, harvest celebrations, re-energized concert calendars, and events ushering in the holiday season mean there are even more options to consider timing a trip around. Niagara Grape & Wine Festival | September 4-6, 11-13, 18-20, 24 - 27

With events in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Fonthill that include hands-on art activities, music performances, tours of heritage buildings, author and artist talks, and more, the suite of free Ontario Culture Days programming offers three weekends of creative inspiration throughout Niagara.

The Foster Festival Fall Performances | October 1-4

Catch the world premieres of two hilarious and heartfelt one-act plays guaranteed to make you laugh out loud when Two Sides of Goodbye, a special Foster Festival double feature, hits the Old Pelham Town Hall in Fenwick this October.

 

Cicada Music & Arts Festival | October 2-3

Each October, the shores of one of the country’s most storied rowing courses become the backdrop for two days of incredible Canadian indie, folk, rock, and roots music, local art, and Niagara’s signature take on community, creativity and connection. Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake Taste The Season | Weekends in November

Live Music Across Niagara | Through December

This fall, an incredible array of talent arrives at live music venues across Niagara. Head to Niagara Falls for performances by big names, like Alice Cooper, Tom Jones, and Ricky Martin at OLG Stage. St. Catharines will welcome performers including Crash Test Dummies, Matthew Good and Strange Advance at FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, Ron Hawkins at The Warehouse Concert Hall, and Tim Hicks, joined by Steven Page and Teenage Head at the annual Light of Day benefit concert.
