Borrow the route below to get to know a whole new side of Niagara.

Stop #1: Jordan Village

After a coffee kickstart at RPM Bakehouse, stroll across the street to the heritage block that houses The Shops of Jordan Village. Here, you’ll find Jordan Art Gallery, which showcases painting, sculpture, mixed media/assemblage, textile, wood, glass and ceramic from many of the most practiced artists working in Niagara today. Northern Expressions is also on the same block, featuring authentic Inuit and Native art, including soapstone carvings, drawings, and prints.

Stop #2: 13th Street Winery

13th Street Winery, on the outskirts of St. Catharines, excels at blending wine, food, and art into a truly beautiful experience. In addition to a large outdoor sculpture garden, the winery has a beautiful gallery that displays the work of Canadian artists. Don’t forget to stop by the bakery for a buttertart!

Stop #3: RiverBrink Art Museum

After a lunch stop in Niagara-on-the-Lake, spend some time exploring RiverBrink Art Museum, which is just down the road in Queenston on the banks of the Niagara River. In addition to the 1,400-work Samuel E. Weir Collection, RiverBrink has a carefully curated collection of artwork and artifacts that complement it.

Stop #4: The Galleries At The Exchange

The Exchange Niagara Falls has three intimate galleries that host a rotating series of exhibits showcasing the work of Niagara artists, including resident artists using the onsite studio spaces.

Stop #5: Rookleys Canadian Art Gallery

For your final stop of the day, head to Niagara’s South Coast to the charming town of Ridgeway. Rookleys Canadian Art Gallery prides itself on housing an extensive collection that showcases the history of Canadian art, including works from the Group of Seven and their contemporaries. Enjoy dinner at 335 on the Ridge or Brimstone Brewing Company to wrap up your day of exploring.
