Song to the Waters

A week-long celebration of our waters with free concerts, performances and workshops featuring Indigenous voices including Māori, Aboriginal Australia, Inuit and local Indigenous peoples.

The Festival culminates in two evenings of incredible, illuminated musical performances and concerts. Song to the Waters is an immersive musical and cultural experience featuring Indigenous artists and Elders from Canada, Australia, and Aotearoa (New Zealand). Rooted in the teachings of water as life, this event honours the voices of the land and calls audiences to listen, reflect, and act in protection of the natural world.

Song to the Waters is a week-long festival taking place August 12 – 16 across sites between Niagara Parks and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority featuring Indigenous-led workshops storytelling cultural exchange and land-based experiences.
