Watching 2,000 butterflies from over 45 different species flutter all around you in tropical warmth is truly a wonder to behold. The Butterfly Conservatory is a year-round indoor attraction that’s ideal for families, and little ones will be awestruck by the spectacle.
Following a short, informative video introduction, paths lead you through the rainforest setting past ponds and waterfalls to the Emergence window, where newly-hatched butterflies leave their pupae and prepare to take their first flight.
The Butterfly Conservatory is located on the grounds of the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens in Niagara Falls, 10 minutes north of the Falls. As with all Niagara Parks attractions, children 5 and under are free.
